INITIAL GUARANTEE:

Koenen Kennels guarantees the puppy to be in good health at the time of delivery.  We guarantee the puppy for ten days from the date of purchase against parvovirus, distemper, leptospirosis, hepititas, and parainfluenza.  If the puppy should get any of these diseases within the ten-day warranty period, notify us at once.  If the puppy should die of any of the above within the ten-day period, contact us within three days of the death of the puppy.  A replacement puppy will be provided from the next available litter of the same breed and sex.  The buyer must provide a written veterinarian statement as to the cause of death and to have the puppy sent to a major university for posting if Koenen Kennels require them to do so. 

The Buyer has two (2) business days to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian.  Should your veterinarian find an illness or physical defect, which is a DIRECT FAULT OF OUR KENNEL, the buyer must notify the seller within 48 hours with the name and phone number of the veterinarian.  If, after contacting your veterinarian, the problem is found to be serious enough to warrant the return of the puppy, the Buyer shall return the puppy within 48 hours of notifying Koenen Kennels, with a written report from the veterinarian and any registration papers.  Upon receipt of the puppy and the papers, a puppy of like value will be given as a replacement when one is available. 

VETERINARIAN AND SHIPPING COSTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE

ONE-YEAR GUARANTEE:

If within one year of the birth date of the puppy, a licensed veterinarian should find a genetic disorder which is serious enough to warrant the euthanization of the puppy, the Buyer must contact Koenen Kennels immediately.  Koenen Kennels will then have a licensed veterinarian interpret the report.  If Koenen Kennels’ veterinarian concurs, upon return of the registration papers, Koenen Kennels will replace the puppy with one of like value when one comes available.

          Koenen Kennels also requires that the puppy stay on the vitamin supplement NuVet Plus that the puppy has been started on.  A sample packet will be given along with the puppy until the new owner can purchase a supply from NuVet.  They are very beneficial to the puppy to promote general good health and to reduce or eliminate common aliments.  This guarantee is void if the puppy doesn’t receive these vitamins during the duration of the one-year guarantee period. 

VETERINARIAN COSTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE

Certain environmental factors such as allergies, thyroid dysfunction and other autoimmune disorders are not covered by this guarantee. 

This is a replacement warranty only!

It is very important that your puppy gets proper rest and eats well.  If they play too hard without eating to keep up their energy they can go into a low blood sugar shock, known as hypoglycemic shock.  Please know the signs of this very preventable condition before you take your new puppy home.  This is not covered under the warranty.  See your vet immediately!

          Our best effort has been given to raise healthy puppies from sound, healthy parents.  Each puppy has been vet checked by Rock River Veterinary Clinic (1-712-472-3934) and you will be notified before purchase of any problems discovered.  This warranty does not cover size, color, breeding quality, show quality or accidental injuries.

The buyer and Koenen Kennels agree that the buyer is responsible for all veterinarian charges after the date of purchase and for any shipping expense of a replacement puppy.

This guarantee is implied for the original purchaser of the puppy. 

This guarantee is null and void if the terms and conditions are not met.

This constitutes the entire agreement.  No other guarantees are either written or implied.
